Warfare Prayer

Mark this down… God hears, answers and uses prayer to build our faith, slow us down and mature us. Let’s pray!

The Dynamics Of A Serious Pray-er

Prayer is the mightiest weapon of spiritual warfare any of us have. God has given each of us the authority to set this world in order in times of apparent spiritual disorder. It will help the hurting back on their feet and heading in a brand-new direction of God’s blessing. It can bring prodigals back home with repentant hearts.

Prayer can stop the devil in his tracts and take back territory he has stolen. We actually have both the authority and might to stand toe to toe with all the devil’s plans and the demons who help accomplish his plans. If Satan attempts to steal your children, your health or peace of mind, it’s your privilege through prayer to side with God and see victories as we pray.

Pray moves the hand of God, meaning that we who side with Him through our intercessory prayer ‘warrior-up’ to help bring success to the growth of God’s Kingdom.

Let me give you some short tips that will put strength and direction into your prayer life:

  1. Make prayer your priority – not a back-up system when everything else fails. We have a bad habit of waiting for things to fall apart before we think to pray. Get a jump on the devil and pray from conviction, not only from catastrophe! 1 Timothy 2:1
  2. Use a rifle – not a shotgun. A rather thoughtless prayer of “God, bless everything in the world. Amen,” will never give you the ability to track specific prayer requests. If your intent is to prayer for peace in the Middle East, add some names of the countries you are praying for and then keep an eye on the news to see evidences of God’s word in answering those prayers. Keep a short note book with issues and requests that are on your heart and go back to it daily. It’s fun to watch God answer those prayers. Mark 11:24  Matthew 6:6
  3. Concentrate on God more than the issues you’re bringing to Him. The back story here is the twelve spies sent in to God’s promised land. To 10, the issue was how small and insignificant they looked compared to the giants in that land. Only two came back with the analysis of how small the giants looked compared to their God. Just one of those viewpoints bode well for the people of Israel. Philippians 4:6,7
  4. Not Lone Rangers but soldiers. It’s always encouraging to have others with you in things you are taking to the Father. There can be needs that should not be shared with others, but when possible find friends who will share the burden you are carrying. Matthew 18:20

PRAY HARD AND SYSTEMATICALLY … WITH FAITH!
