God opened his mouth and hurled 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars across billions of light years. Counting them at one per second would consume the next fifteen hundred trillion years! (For just the stars in our small galaxy would only take you slightly less than ten thousand years to count!)

God’s voice can break cedar trees (Psalm 29:5). His voice called Lazarus, a man dead for three days, from the tomb (John 11). By contrast, He used His voice to call a young boy from sleep and it didn’t scare him! (I Samuel 3)

But here’s what we need to know about His voice – when needing rescue, comfort. directions, discipline or love…: “Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.” Isaiah 30:31
