One dismaying generality about Western Christianity is that it is populated by people who know of God … are acquainted with God … but do not intimately know Him. But the Bible is clear on this point: those destined to change their world will need more than a casual acquaintance relationship with Him.

Ponder: What are some evidences of a surface relationship with God? Think about someone you know who has a deep and intimate relationship with the Father. What things characterize their life? Ask God to deepen your relationship with Him.
