Answers to prayer may be hidden from you if you aren’t praying specifically!

“Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” Psalm 5:1-3 KJV

Do you pray in sweeping generalities or are you specific about what you pray for? God loves to answer specific prayer requests. Often we are not aware of answered prayers because our prayers were not sufficiently targeted to know when and how they are answered.

Begin using a list. It doesn’t need to be lengthy, but it needs to be specific. Ask God pointedly for certain things, and then watch Him answer in a thoroughly specific way.
